Research Groups
Industrial Automation, IoT and Building Energy, EMC and Hydrogen Technologies
Computational Molecular Design Research Group
The CoMoDe is a multidisciplinary research group working at the intersection of chemistry, physics, and biology with the goal of designing environmentally friendly materials. CoMoDe members regularly employ computational chemistry tools in their research, utilizing high-performance computing resources.
Polyurethane Research Group
The PUR Laboratory collaborates with industrial partners (e.g., MOL, Wanhua-BorsodChem), but its activities go beyond industrial needs and encompass the development of new polyurethanes (from computer models to synthesis), product optimization, development, and refinement in synthetic processes, as well as all fundamental and targeted research in the field of PUR chemistry.
Molecular and Microbiology
- Testing the antimicrobial effects and ecotoxicity of materials
- Investigating the molecular biological applications of magnetic nanoparticles
- Studying the biodegradation of synthetic polymers
- Performing microbiological tasks related to material development
LCA Research Group
The life cycle perspective is of paramount importance in today's context. It encompasses sustainability, technical feasibility, resource protection, and economic viability. Within this framework, environmental impacts, energy efficiency, economic costs, and social impacts are collectively assessed.
