Triaxial compression testing

Physical examination

In a “triaxial compression test”, different load machines are used depending on the compression force needed to perform the tests. The load machines available are:

25 kN
100 kN
1000 kN
3000 kN

These loading machines are suitable for performing triaxial compression tests in accordance with the ISRM (International Society for Rock Mechanics) recommendations and MSZ 18285/3-79.
