Our Wind Tunnel Laboratory has the following equipment for wind tunnel testing:
- Closed system insulated wind tunnel (0.8 m x 1.2 m):
- 0,8 m x 1,2 m
- Suitable for environmental tests
- Closed system wind tunnel (0,5 m x 0,5 m):
- Measuring cross-section: 0,5 m x 0,5 m
- To support basic research tasks in forced convection
- Open system wind tunnel (0.4 m x 0.4 m):
- Cross-section: 0,4 m x 0,4 m
- To support basic turbulence research tasks
- Constant Temperature Anemometry (CTA) measuring system:
- Used to determine the velocity distribution
- Schlieren optical system:
- Used to investigate temperature distribution
- InfraTech thermal camera:
- Resolution: 640 x 480 pixels
- Image refresh rate: 25 Hz
- Can be used to record temperature distribution
- Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) system:
- Can be used for flow analysis and velocity measurement
- Laser Displacement Anemometry (LDA):
- Laser displacement velocity measurement
The combination of our equipment and systems allows our laboratory to perform a wide range of wind tunnel studies, including environmental, forced convection, turbulence fundamental research, and others.
