Screw tests

The “Screw tests” are carried out using several pieces of equipment. Here are the specifications:

1. ZD10, ZD40, ZD100 equipment:

Load: 100 kN, 400 kN, 1000 kN
Purpose: Testing of test specimens, structural elements and structures at room temperature in an ambient medium, depending on the material quality and size of the specimen.
Note: Individual instrumentation may be required.

2. MTS 312, MTS 810 equipment:

Load: 250 kN
Purpose: Testing of test specimens, structural members and structures over a wide temperature range, in ambient and non-ambient media, depending on the material quality and size of the test specimen.
Note: Individual instrumentation may be required.

This equipment enables bolting tests to be carried out under various loading conditions and allows the behaviour and strength of materials and structures under bolt loading to be understood and analysed.
